ISO Category 6A Connecting Hardware Modular Jack, Coupler, Panel
Information technology -- Generic cabling for customer premises -- Part 2: Office premises
This document specifies generic cabling within and between the buildings of office premises, or office spaces within other types of building. Additionally those premises can include industrial spaces (for which generic cabling is specified in ISO/IEC 11801-3) or data centre spaces (for which generic cabling is specified in ISO/IEC 11801-5).
ISO/IEC Category 6A <--> TIA Category 6A
The most important point is a performance difference between
ISO/IEC and TIA component specifications for the NEXT* transmission parameter. At a frequency of 500 MHz, an ISO/IEC Category 6A connector performs 3dB better than a Category 6A connector that conforms with the TIA specification. 3dB equals 50% reduction of near-end crosstalk noise signal power.
