How do I get to GITEX GLOBAL? 

The easiest way to reach Dubai World Trade Center is by Metro, Taxi, Uber, and Careem transport services.

Take the METRO

The Dubai Metro via the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) station on the Red Line, gives visitors of GITEX GLOBAL direct access to the venue.

To ensure a smooth metro journey and avoid extra waiting, please purchase a Nol Card in advance through the ticket machines and in-person ticket counters in all stations to use the metro before entering through the barriers. Both cash and cards are accepted.

Metro / Subway is the most recommended transportation method.

Dubai’s metro system is budget-friendly, clean and air-conditioned way to travel around the emirate. There are two lines: the Red Line runs the length of Dubai, connecting to many significant landmarks along the way, while the Green Line primarily serves ‘old’ Dubai, including the Creek area and the souks of Bur Dubai and Deira. Tram service, known as the Orange Line, provides dedicated access to points around Dubai Marina. Driverless trains run roughly every five minutes from 5 am to 11 pm and can be accessed with a Nol Card, which can be obtained from any station, including the one at Dubai World Trade Centre.

GITEX GLOBAL grew so much that we added additional parking options to reach the event with more ease. Visitors can now park their vehicles in the following parking lots and use the metro to reach the Dubai World Trade Center station:

  • Centrepoint Metro Station Parking
  • Etisalat Metro Station Parking
  • Jebel Ali Metro Station Parking
  • The Multi-storey parking building near Max Station (previously known as Al Jafiliya) in Al Kifaf area, and using Al Jafiliya metro station to reach the exhibition

After parking your car at these locations, use the nearby Metro station to easily reach the event.

PARK YOUR CAR to take free dedicated shuttle buses

Visitors can park their vehicles in the parking lot of the Dubai Mall Zabeel Extension, and take the exclusively arranged shuttle buses for pick-up and drop off (from Dubai Mall parking to DWTC and back).

Metered private taxis and on-demand transport services are growing in popularity and readily available around Dubai. If you already have a Careem or Uber app from another country, the same app can be used to book your ride in Dubai. If you are unfamiliar with Careem or Uber, both companies offer downloadable apps for both Android and iOS platforms.

ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF TRANSPORT

Use alternative roads, and Dubai World Trade Center parking

You can also access the exhibition by car, by following the traffic bulletins on social media to find out about current traffic conditions and activating the notification service on the Dubai Police App. Visitors can also use the Dubai World Trade Center parking next to the venue.

For optimal and easier access, we advise visitors to use alternative roads to reach the Financial Center area, such as Al Mustaqbal Street for those coming from Al Maydan Street, and Al Sukuk Street for those coming from Sheikh Zayed Road.

By Road

Dubai is connected to neighboring emirates via an excellent highway system. From Sharjah, the E11 highway (Sheikh Zayed Road), E311, E88 and E102 are all popular routes into Dubai. From Abu Dhabi, the E11, E311, E66 and E44 highways offer inbound options. For those driving to Dubai from another GCC country, the United Arab Emirates border can be accessed through Saudi Arabia or Oman, with appropriate and valid visa(s).

Parking space is limited, our most recommended method of transport is metro/subway. Or as an alternative, you can use taxi, Uber, Careem, or co-sharing transport, that will not require you to use parking.
