There are more than 2 Million telecommunications users in the Middle East with 200% growth in the past decade, even though the Middle East Telecommunications infrastructure varies from rudimentary to advanced, from country to country. While many maintain that the market is saturated with service providers, others will argue that more competition is required to enhance the service offerings.
Great strides have been taken in recent years to put the Middle East on the Telecoms world map such as the UAE to have the first city in the world to have 100% fibre optic deployment.
