Randall Lee Pires
Blockchain Futurist on the quest to build the world's first Society 5.0 automated city.
Since graduating Georgia Tech with an engineering degree in 2007, Randall Lee Pires spent the next 10 years working internationally, mostly in Africa. Randall started his career as a project engineer helping to build the largest LNG plant in the world at the time. Afterwards Randall started his own WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) company, and built internet coverage for 100s of thousands of users across 4 times zones in Africa, to mostly jungle regions like Angola and South Sudan since 2009. There he pioneered use of some of the first technologies to be used on the continent, sometimes not even commercially available in the world at the time like mesh networks, and TV Whitespace spectrum equipment until South Sudan relapsed into Civil War. Randall Lee Pires has always been focused on new and emerging technologies that wrap up together in a new model of Society 5.0 with Super Smart Cities, Artificial General Intelligence, and Blockchain value exchange.
