George Hotz, also known as geohot, is a security hacker, entrepreneur, soundcloud rapper, and software engineer. He is known for developing iOS jailbreaks, reverse engineering the PlayStation 3, and for the subsequent lawsuit brought against him by Sony. Since September 2015, he has been working on his vehicle automation machine learning company, comma.ai which built the comma two and openpilot, open source advanced driver assistance system software. Consumer Reports ranked comma.ai the best driver assistance system in 2020 above Tesla AutoPilot and Cadillac Super Cruise.
