Distributed Monitoring and Large Network Monitoring

  • IP subnets can be assigned to zones, allowing overlapping addresses as well as logical grouping (e.g. per customer). All communication with objects in the zone is performed via one or more proxy agents.
  • Automatic load balancing and failover with multiple instances of proxy agent for each zone
  • Proxy agent in autonomous mode keeps collecting data even when the central management server is not available
