Zecurion is recognized by Forrester
Zecurion Inc., a leading developer of DLP systems, today announced that Forrester Research, an information technology research and advisory company, has included Zecurion in its "Now Tech: Data Loss Prevention Q1 2019" report, published January 18th, 2019.
Forrester has identified two functionality segments for DLP solutions: feature/channel and suite. Feature/channel solutions provide limited coverage and relatively easy implementation. Such solutions come as an embedded feature or functionality within another security offering to address a specific channel of data loss. For example, DLP functionality within a cloud security gateway. Organizations typically rely on this segment for compliance-driven use cases.
Suite covers all data loss channels and offers more robust capabilities. This is typically an integrated technology offering that specifically address data loss prevention. Organizations will find a greater functionality in a suite to support intellectual property protection and insider threat use cases in addition to compliance.
Zecurion DLP was placed to the suite segment as it covers all possible data loss channels, has solid content detection methods range including machine learning, and a lot of advanced features such as user behavior analysis.
“Last year we were featured in IDC MarketScape Data Loss Prevention Vendor Assessment among top seven DLP vendors of the world, and since 2013 Zecurion is a member of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Data Loss Prevention,” said Alexey Raevsky, CEO at Zecurion. “Being featured by Forrester secures Zecurion place in the major league of DLP players, as now it’s already recognized by Big 3 analyst firms.”
