MicroCenter is ICT company of the year
MicroCenter (MC), the leading IT solution provider in Bahrain, has been recognised as “ICT Company of the year” by Bahrain Technology Company Society (BTECH).
The award was declared as part of the MEET ICT Award ceremony during BITEX 2018 which was held from February 13 to 15 at the Gulf Convention Centre.
“It is recognition of the outstanding services and expertise contributed by MC in the ICT industry,” a BTECH spokesman commented.
The award was received by MC founder and president Dr Ghulum Bakiri – a veteran in IT industry and pioneer in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) education in Bahrain.
“I am honoured and humbled to be a part of this event,” said Dr Bakiri while receiving the award.
“This accolade is considered an approval of our contribution and commitment to IT industry in Bahrain.
“I would like to congratulate the management and entire staff who have been dedicated and who have contributed over all these years to reach this goal.
“We are proud of winning this award, which will inspire us further to continue as an integral part of this community and development programme in Bahrain.”
