Dubai, UAE - 20 October 2025: At the world’s largest tech and AI event, the Abu Dhabi Government made an emphatic statement on the future of public innovation. Led by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), over 30 government and academic institutions from Abu Dhabi unveiled breakthrough innovations, new strategic partnerships, public sector digitalization initiatives, and world-first platforms at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, positioning Abu Dhabi at the vanguard of the UAE’s AI and digital transformation. The showcase demonstrated how technology, governance and citizen services converge into one intelligent ecosystem, and accelerate Abu Dhabi’s mission to become the world’s first fully AI-native government by 2027.
AI-Native by Design: TAMM Ushers in the Next Era of Community Service
Under the banner “AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose,” Abu Dhabi entities shared their vision for a fully intelligent government. The centrepiece was the unveiling of TAMM 4.0, featuring AutoGov, the world’s first AI-powered public servant capable of autonomously completing citizen transactions such as license renewals, healthcare bookings and utility payments based on individual preferences.
The upgraded TAMM 4.0 integrates over 1,100 public and private services, supported by advanced features such as AI Vision, Smart Guide, voice assistance, and real-time translation, bringing seamless, secure, and smarter digital experiences to every resident. Complementing TAMM, the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) launched the Bayaan app, making it easier for investors, enterprises, and business leaders to get comprehensive statistics and UAE business indicator information to drive data-driven decision making.
From Everyday Life to Infrastructure Intelligence
The RAAD smart vehicle, launched by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority in partnership with K2, emerged as a major highlight – a first of its kind multi-mission vehicle that combines AI, robotics within a unified command-and-control system to boost emergency response efficiency. Other innovations included the Smart Inspection Robot built for patrolling and assuring citizen safety, alongside LivAI, the emirate’s new Digital Twin Platform integrating live data, robotics, and predictive analytics to simulate and manage master urban development.
Another major launch at GITEX GLOBAL was the UAE’s first quantum computing deployment for energy, unveiled by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), in partnership with ADNOC, ASPIRE, and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). It uses quantum algorithms to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and accelerate ADNOC’s Net Zero by 2045 strategy.
The Department of Health (DoH) introduced the world’s first AI-powered Population Health Intelligence Platform, an advanced predictive system that identifies early health risks and improves long-term community wellbeing, while QMobility unveiled the Zero Barrier AI Parking system with real-time plate recognition and seamless integration with DARB wallet. These, among many more innovations, reinforced Abu Dhabi’s drive to embed automation in daily life.
Strategic Public-Private Alliances Accelerating the UAE’s AI Ambitions
