Discussion Group 1:
Are we implementing technologies without fully understanding its complementary role in the classroom?

The role of technology in education is no longer a topic of debate.  Technology is used to personalize learning, innovate education, and educate for innovation.  However, schools around the world are still only having varying degrees of success in effectively leveraging technology to develop students’ potential and prepare them for the rapidly changing world of the fourth industrial revolution.  In this session, we will explore what is possible for transforming the classroom with technology, what are the challenges, and what are the key factors for success.
