Adel Baraja has leveraged 15 years of consumer, product, brand and B2B marketing experience as a founder of multiple startups such as Scorch Hosting, GreenBox and Vitamin Office.
In addition to his role as VW brand marketing director, Adel Baraja is responsible for Volkswagen’s group corporate brand, corporate communication and multi-brand integrated marketing efforts to drive cost-effective marketing in Saudi Arabia. He drives the Volkswagen Group’s corporate and product positioning, branding and identity, marketing campaigns, public relations, social media, sports sponsorship activation and field marketing programs to ensure strong connections with consumers.
Besides brand building, making advertising more effective and market research, Adel also addresses new areas such as the group public profile, sales leads management, marketing automation and building the marketing infrastructure capabilities with more focus on the consumer experience.
Prior to joining Volkswagen Group in 2014, Adel Baraja served at The Dow Chemical Company, STC and the German advertising agency Springer & Jacoby.
