Chris Dedicoat is President, Europe, Middle East and Africa, at Cisco. Dedicoat is responsible for EMEA operations, growth initiatives and investments in strategic alliances and acquisitions throughout the region. EMEA is the highest revenue-earning region outside the U.S. Customer success is his first priority and the foundation of the culture for his organisation. Under his leadership, customer satisfaction has increased to an all-time high. He also sponsors a number of initiatives globally and within EMEA geared towards driving a more productive, innovative and inclusive organisation. Dedicoat is a frequent speaker at industry and government events on the innovation potential of technology to transform business and society. He is a regular media commentator and guest presenter on CNBC. He engages with key political leaders across the region, advising them on transformational agendas to turn the major economic and societal challenges into opportunities. After joining Cisco in 1995, he held a number of senior positions including President, European Markets, Vice President and Managing Director of Cisco’s UK & Ireland operation and Head of Sales for EMEA before assuming his current position in 2011. Prior to joining Cisco, he was at Motorola. For his outstanding contribution to the field of engineering, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Central England. He has a Commercial Pilot License and is an ardent Aston Villa Football supporter
