McTiVia Expands its Support to iOS, Android and BlackBerry

AWIND Inc. announced a series of new software for mobile devices following McTiVia’s winning of the Best of Show award in Macworld 2011. With the availability of these new software, McTiVia now becomes a universal wireless bridge for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry devices to show real-time screens on a connected HDTV!

Based on the MirrorOp (Mirror Screen and Operation) technology, McTiVia is the first MirrorOp receiver device that can receive real-time screen images and audio streams from Mac and Windows computers, and replicate a virtual computer on an HDTV. Unlike iTV or DLNA devices that only stream files to HDTVs, McTiVia allows users to stream all kinds of computer applications (including video players and browsers) to a TV to upgrade an ordinary TV to a more powerful Internet TV!

Through the release of three new applications, McTiVia now expands its support to almost all devices that family members can possibly have -- Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry! Sharing contents with families and friends has never been easier! McTiVia users can now download two free applications without any usage limitation, and free MirrorOp senders with five-minute trial.

Photo Senders allow users to send photos they take on the road to McTiVia. By launching the application from iPhone, Android or BlackBerry devices, users can show the photos they choose on a much bigger HDTV to share with their friends and families!

MirrorOp Senders allow users to send screen images (no sound in this version) from their mobile devices to McTiVia. However, due to the architectural differences of mobile devices, there may be different requirements (JB or rooting)!

MirrorOp Receivers allow users to show and control Windows and Mac screens on their iPad or Android devices! An excellent usage scenario would be playing a DVD movie on a desktop PC, and view the movie on an iPad while lying on the bed! With these MirrorOp Receiver applications, iPad or Android tablet will become a full-featured computer in your hand!

With the introduction of the three new MirrorOp Sender applications, Any2TV finally comes true on the McTiVia box. Also, with the release of the three new MirrorOp Receiver applications, Any2Any is no longer a fervent wish! AWIND is committed to developing MirrorOp technology to shift screens to screens.
