DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – 7 October, 2012- Reichle & De-Massari (R&M), the Swiss structured cabling specialist, is looking to create an impact at GITEX Technology Week with its innovate range of data center products and space saving solutions. The company is also demonstrating the Street Cabinet and Splice Closure Single Circuit Management (SCM) solutions and the Optical Distribution Frame which see utilization in FTTH deployments which are a growing trend in the region.
R&M has made great strides towards its vision of becoming the region's leading data center cabling solutions provider by 2013. The company offers highly customized pre-terminated cables for ease of installation and maintenance. The high density data center solutions which surpass industry standards give companies a definite advantage and a clear path for the migration from 10 GbE to 40 or even 100GbE deployments.
The company has announced that it will bring to market by 2013 the R&Mfreenet uniPhy system which allows Automated Infrastructure Management (AIM) functions to be retrofitted to standard R&M platforms. This system consists of two key components: R&Mfreenet uniPhy Manage, a software application for the management of physical infrastructures, and R&Mfreenet uniPhy Monitor for realtime acquisition of network connectivity which takes place using RFID technology.
