GITEX Global and GITEX Impact will build up the momentum for COP 28, taking place in Dubai from 30 November -12 December. How do you see the adoption of ESG strategies by tech companies, and what are the critical factors for those initiatives leading to a more sustainable future?
Orbic considers ESG strategies integral to technology business operations. While Orbic has already adopted key actions to make our business more sustainable and to manufacture our products with environmental protection in mind, taking the steps to reduce our carbon footprint and reviewing our source-to-store cycle - like recycling and using recycled materials where we can, using sustainable methods of shipping - our ultimate goal is minimum waste, minimum carbon emissions, zero hazardous chemicals, and for our products to be as circular as possible. Though we are not there yet, we’re committed to driving progress, and evolving our approach all the time. What's critical is constant measurement of the improvements that we make, and benchmark these against global goals, to ensure that we hit those goals collectively, globally.
