How important is the Middle East and Africa for your business, and what is your growth strategy in the region over the coming years?
The Middle East is an essential part of our growth plans. Our regional office is based in Dubai, and we are expanding our team and spreading geographically.
To what extent can the region’s bold digital transformation missions elevate the global tech ecosystem?
Esri’s success is founded on its main product, ArcGIS, and on the maxima of continuous support for government entities. We witness the impact of digital transformation through increased Esri agreements with the governments in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, South Africa, and Egypt.
Which countries and industry verticals are you targeting as part of your business plan over the next 5-10 years?
Central Asia, more activities in Africa. Local government, national government, and infrastructure.
